Philosophy:
Our clinical focus is on the following:
Postpartum Mood Disorders such as Depression and Anxiety because none of us come into this world other than by birth. Ensuring treatment for women who have been challenged at such an important life transition with postpartum depression, anxiety, etc. is of the utmost important for the mental health and safety of the mother and the baby. We hold no judgement for women who have postpartum depression after giving up their child for adoption. We will work with you wholeheartedly. If you have a supportive partner of family that you want included in your treatment, we are happy to consider where they fit best in your therapy.
Traumatic events may be in the past but many times they are currently causing distress. We address these as they come up and work with you on alleviating the old reservoirs of pain.
Mindfulness is taught in a monthly group setting online. The unique method taught here addresses anxiety as well as how to discipline the mind.
Immigration Evaluation: Much anxiety is caused over issues surrounding being an immigrant and often you can be victimized because you are an immigrant. We provide you the evaluation for your lawyer to use in court.
